Privacy, in plain language

What we collect — and why

• Your name search. When you use the name check, we process the name, state, and county you type so we can look for possible public-record matches. We don’t store your search terms alongside your identity.
• Your email-list address. If you join our email list, we use your email address to send the guides, reminders, and updates you asked for.
• Your contact inquiry. If you send a contact message, we process your name, email address, and message solely to process and respond to your inquiry. Sending a contact message does not subscribe you to the email list. The website does not save contact-message content in its database. Contact messages are processed through our Hostinger-hosted email service and may remain in our mailbox. We have not established a fixed mailbox-retention policy. Please do not include sensitive documents or identification numbers.
• Your consent record. We keep the exact permission text you agreed to, plus when and from which page you joined, so we can prove we had your permission.
• A scrambled network identifier. We store a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) to help prevent abuse of our forms.

What we never do

• We never sell personal data. Not your email, not your name, not anything. We don’t sell claimant data, period.
• No analytics, no tracking cookies. This site doesn’t run analytics software. The only cookie we set is a minimal session cookie that keeps the search and contact forms working (for example, to limit automated abuse).

Public records vs. your private information

The surplus-funds records we monitor are public records published by counties and courts. Our search shows masked, partial results from those public sources. Anything you give us privately — like your email address — is treated as private and handled under this page.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe anytime with one click in any email. We’ll stop emailing you promptly.
• Ask for deletion. Email Info@f5ivesolutions.com from the address you used, and we’ll delete your subscription record.
• Ask what we have. Same address — we’ll tell you what information we hold about you.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the small amount of information we hold, and we collect as little as possible in the first place — that’s the best protection of all.

Changes

If we ever change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and note the date above. We won’t weaken these protections without telling you first.
